You may not always require to see a GP. We have a variety of clinical staff who may be able to deal with your medical condition or queries. Our clinical team inlcudes an experienced Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurse and Treatment Room Nuses. Our reception staff will try to assist you in being seen by the most approriate person.
As part of this process, for us to ensure that patients are being accomodated in the most appropriate manner, the GPs have asked the reception staff to briefly enquire about the reason that an appointment is required. This has already been the case for all nurse appointments, home visits and emergency appointments for some time within the practice. It is also the case for all Out of Hours contacts via NHS24.
Our staff are fully trained and all information is treated as strictly confidential. We are grateful for your co-operation and support and believe that this will enable us to better manage the wide range of requests that come through the practice daily.
Video Consultations - Attend Anywhere/Near Me
Where appropriate, the GP or Nurse Practitioner may ask you to log on for a Video Consultation. This is done using Attend Anywhere / Near Me. You must access the system via Goggle Chrome or Safari.
For information, please select the Appointments at the top of the page and scroll down to Video Call.
An appointment by video from your home or wherever is convenient to you. The GP will let you know when your appointment is. When instructed, please use the following link to start your call.
*To access the system you must do so via either Google Chrome or Safari*.
NB - You will have access to the virtual waiting room at all times. However, without an appointment from the GP, no one will connect with you for a consultation.
